473: Tim Braun

Tim Braun, the Republican Sandusky County prosecutor, was accused of sexual assault. He pled guilty to a lesser charge and even got to keep his job. Two women accused him of making the workplace hostile and untenable for the women who worked for him. He made comments about the woman and her coworkers body types, their clothing, how attractive they are. He put his hands, she claimed, all over a pregnant woman in the office.

He pleaded guilty to negligent assault and was given a suspended sentence. He was barred from the Courthouse and told he just had to show up two days and he would get his retirement. The Fremont City Council asked the governor to remove him from office. He resigned to avoid a state trial.
