Eric Dudley was an Episcopal priest who left the church in 2005 because they promoted a gay man to the role of bishop. He then went on to found his own church, St.. Peter’s, in opposition to inclusion of LGBTIQA in the church. In 2018, he was forced out because he used his position to sexually abuse young men. In 2021, he opened a new church
