Jacob Wohl is a conspiracist and rightwing extremist who was banned for life from the National Futures Association when he was just twenty years old. He has a bingo card of security fraud charges and illegal securities sales, but despite his corrupt criminal history, he has been welcomed by Republicans as he uses his corrupt tactics to attack Democrats.
He has founded phony “intelligence agencies” and hired actors and actresses to charge Democratic politics with sexual harassment and sexual assault. He has fabricated death threats against himself. He also worked hard to suppress the votes of people of color by using robocalls to misinform voters, telling them if they vote by mail, their private information will be provided to police and credit bureaus. He pleaded guilty to telecommunications fraud for this crime. He has been accused of assault and abuse of staff of his DC Predators show.
He is on this list for diminishing the credibility of women who bring forward sexual assault allegations. Sexual assault victims already face a credibility deficit as explained in the book “Credible: Why We Doubt Accusers and Protect Abusers” by Deborah Tuerkheimer. By manufacturing several sexual assault hoaxes, he exacerbates the difficulty of real sexual assault survivors.
