Christopher von Keyserling was a member of the Representative Town Meeting of Greenwich, CT when he sexually assaulted a woman employed by the town. A Republican, he celebrated Trump’s upcoming 2017 Inauguration by reaching through a town employee’s legs and pinching her groin, an action Trump bragged about on tape. He said he no longer had to be “politically correct.”
Initially, the woman only told her supervisor and had no intent to file a criminal complaint, but learned he had done this to other women at the office. Von Keyserling had served 32 years and ran for re-election, he lost. He was found guilty and sentenced to house arrest.
