KENTUCKY- Rape and Assault
Back in 2023, the Oldham County Sheriff’s Office executed an arrest warrant on pro arm wrestler Austin Jaggers, 32, at his Prospect address. The Oldham County Police Department (OCPD) charged Jaggers with first-degree rape (domestic) with serious physical injury, first degree kidnapping with serious physical injury, first-degree burglary, second degree assault and first-degree criminal mischief.
OCPD received report of a sexual assault on Oct. 15, 2023. They say the victim identified Jaggers as her then-boyfriend, accusing him of raping and physically assaulting her the previous night.
During the investigation, OCPD reviewed home security footage, determining that the victim and Jaggers engaged in a verbal argument around 10:30 p.m., according to the citation.
Six minutes later, police say Jaggers told the victim, “You’re going to get raw-dogged by me,” a slang reference to sex without a condom.
Police say the victim refused several times and asked Jagger to leave, but he proceeded to engage in vaginal intercourse against her will, holding her down and preventing her from leaving throughout the process.
Jaggers, according to OCPD, also struck the victim several times in the face and head, causing serious physical injury. The victim also attempted to dial 911, but police say Jaggers grabbed her phone and broke it.
