OREGON- Child Abuse, Strangulation, Assault
Today we are investigating GOP Predator number 1,549. According to KATU news out of Portland, Oregon, a Clackamas County grand jury late last month indicted Estacada City Councilor Matthew Blevens on more than 20 charges related to mistreating, strangling, and assaulting a child in his custody.
The Feb. 26, 2026 indictment says Matthew O. Blevens, 39, caused physical injury to the child and restricted the child’s breathing by “applying pressure on the throat, neck and chest,” as well as harassing and menacing the child.

CITY COUNCIL SEAT
Estacada Councilor reports Blevens was appointed to a vacant seat on the city council in February 2025. That was done via a split vote following public testimony.
The appointment was needed after Councilor-elect Michael Crossett received life-altering injuries in an explosion. That left him physically unable to fulfill his role on the council.
Blevens was ultimately chosen with a 4-2 vote. The debate around the appointment did not include any conversations about the alleged abuse (as it had not come to light at that point).

If Mr. Blevens believes he fits in with a party full of people with core principle issues, he is absolutely correct. Character in civic office matters as much as their policy and should be held with honor. Blevens took advantage of a tragedy to get into a position of power, while he himself was asserting tragedy to young children.
Louisiana Representative Mike Johnson is a crusader for the “faith and family” crowd, it is really difficult to nail down exactly when and where this takes place. It would be interesting to hear his most likely inverted opinion on this trend of his own party’s violence and sex abuse towards teens, children and even animals FFS.
If you stripped the cash from Mike Johnson’s undocumented bank accounts, removed him from the GOP crowd, and had him wrench on a few family member’s cars- do you feel he would demonstrate being a real family man over what appears as someone defending the monsters in his clique?
