Benjamin John Martin is an insurrectionist from Fresno, California. He was well-known in the area for his anti-mark activism during COVID. He was convicted of participating in the insurrection and later convicted of possession of firearms despite being prohibited from having guns after his conviction for domestic violence.
According to charging documents, Martin was arrested in 2012 for being his 14-year old daughter and convicted in 2018 of domestic violence after beating his girlfriend. Prosecutors said he choked her and dragged her back into his house when she tried to leave.
He pleaded no contest to the domestic violence charge and they dismissed his charge for using a weapon likely to cause injury. He was prohibited from owning or possessing firearms after this conviction.
