Michael “Luke” Atwell is a retired high school teacher and a volunteer coach at Palo Verde High School in Nevada. He was arrested at school, charged with sexually abusing several students over the years.
He was charged with sexually assaulting a minor under fourteen. The assault was alleged to have happened at his home while the victim was between 11 and 14.
According to police, there are additional victims, though one who is now over 30 cannot proceed as th statute of limitations on raping a child have passed.
