Thomas Wall was pastor of the conservative Pentecostal Fellowship Church in Lancaster, Kentucky. He also administered the Christian academy run by the church. He was originally arrested in January 2022, accused of sexually abusing a family member over forty years ago when the relative was under the age of twelve.
Since then, several more people have come forward and he has been indicted on additional charges involving at least seven victims under the age of twelve. While he had been out on bond after his first arrest, after the second he stayed in jail.
In December, 2023, he pleaded guilty to one count of sexual abuse in the first degree and the other twelve counts were dismissed. The sentence agreed up was just one year, which is how long he has been in jail awaiting trial. He is now out of jail on bond, pending sentencing in February.
