Imagine, if you will, being a person who decides deep within themselves that they should publish an article casting an equally—if not more!—harsh light on someone who wrote a bad check as another person who sexually assaulted (at least) three minors. And all this would be couched in a vapid and puritanical, “[what will they think of our government],” thesis. Just imagine being that person, and the deep shame existing inside.
You’re right. I confess that when I finally found an article, any article, that could be screenshot, I just went with it. Frankly, this guy’s story seems to have mostly disappeared. I had to find a different news archive service and subscribe to find the offending article and was just happy to find anything. Considering your apt criticism, I went back and searched again and found a better article that did not equate bad checks to groping.
