1137: Alexander Kenoyer

Alexander Kenoyer

Alexander Kenoyer was a police detective in Cripple Creek, Colorado. He was accused of coercing a sex trafficking victim to have sex with him. In a sane world, this would be called rape.

In a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to public indecency, a misdemeanor, and attempting to influence a public servant (his boss) which is a felony. The sexual assault charges were dropped.

In the agreement, he agreed to two years of probation and could get sixty days in jail. The judge said he could give him no jail time and would decide whether his probation could be unsupervised or supervised.

At the sentencing hearing, it was revealed he had a pattern of this behavior and had pressured women for sex before. When he got caught, he resigned and moved to a different police department. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail.
