
Ryan Kissell was a special education teacher and football coach at Nodaway Valley Community School District in Greenfield, Iowa. He lived in Creston, 22 miles south. He had also taught there and at two other schools in the area.
He was arrested August 16, 2023, and charged with 21 counts of second-degree sexual abuse, 24 counts of lascivious acts with a child, and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child. The most recent alleged incident was July 5th.
According to the police, the abuse began in 2013 and has continued since then until July 5th. The child was 12 or younger during that entire time. You do the math.
