John Brownlow is the former Chief Financial Office of Westminster Academy, a school that follows the theology of Doug Wilson. He was arrested for stalking a minor online and in person, going so far as to break into his home to spy on his and get unlawful images of him. He would persuade the boy to engage in a sexual activity and then record it without his knowledge. This went on from 2020 to 2022.
This was reported to the school in January 2022, they fired Brownlow, banned him from campus, and informed the police. He was arrested in September 2022.
He was charged with seven felonies and a misdemeanor all involving one minor child. Charges are: especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor; two charges of soliciting sexual exploit of a minor, aggravated burglary, aggravated unlawful photograph, sexual exploitation of a minor, aggravated stalking, and observation without consent. I include the relevant chapter of Tennessee statutes since there are so many offenses.
