Leslie Shawn Brock was appointed to the Lockland City Council in 2019. He served on the finance and safety and the health and welfare committees. In September 2022, he was arrested for possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. He was uploading CSAM and the Internet Crimes Against Children tipped off the Sheriff’s Office. After a search, he was charged with ten counts of child obscenity and two counts of pandering with child pornography.

He reached a plea deal where he pleaded guilty to six CSAM counts and serve three years in prison and register as a sex offender after release. Judge Leslie Ghiz was not pleased with the agreement as she would have given him a longer sentence. “I’m sure your attorney informed you about how I feel about these kinds of cases. I don’t know if I would let you out at all. I would keep you in (prison) as long as I could.”
