Michael Guglielmo became politically active to encourage people to enlist in the bone marrow transplant registry as his son Giovanni was born with a rare disease and needed a transplant. His advocacy added 40,000 people to the bone marrow registry. His son never got a match and died in 2012 when he was five.
Guglielmo turned to anti-trans activism and pro-Trumpism. His property has “F*ck Biden, F*ck Harris, and F*ck You Too” signs as well as Trump flags, etc. Many people have complained about his offensive signs.
He complained about a teacher wearing “gender fluid” clothing and the teacher was temporarily suspended during an investigation that found no cause for the complaint and restored the teacher. In protest, Guglielmo then attended a school board meeting dressed as Caesar to rant against transgender people. He was not allowed to speak at the board meeting because he did not live in the district and no one was willing to make an exception to give him the floor. FOX News amplified his complaint.
He’s got a violent history. He spent fifteen years in prison for shooting at police in a standoff. He has been arrested for assaulting a woman while she was driving with him. He was also arrested for sexually groping a child.
