Fred Gammon, Jr. of Miami, Oklahoma, is the pastor of Wayside Assembly of God church in Wyandotte. He is accused of sending inappropriate sexual texts to a child and sexually abusing her. His wife told police that he now had a different view of the child and was being tested by god and that he asked her forgiveness and she gave it. He is charged with child sexual abuse.
One of the girl’s relative assaulted Gammon at a court hearing and BACA, Bikers Against Child Abuse, came to show their disapproval. He has a hearing in July, 2023 and another in July, 2024.
His trial was held at the end of November and the jury convicted him but only recommended one year in prison. He was sentenced to a year in prison and 17.5 years suspended.
