Gareth Reece Goode was a music school owner and the Praise and Music Director at his fundamentalist church in Boerne, Texas. Their school uses the anti-science Abeka curriculum and they promote homophobia and misogyny. In January 2023, he was arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child and harassment.
The investigation began when the victim’s mother filed a complaint in June 2021, alleging her daughter was sexually abused by Goode back in 2013.
