William Frank Brown was the pastor at the Bellmead First Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. Before that he was the pastor of Panther Creek New Beginnings Baptist Church in Chandlerville, Illinois. He molested children at both churches.
He was arrested in April, 2009 and charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child. Two victims of sexual abuse were identified but one was in Illinois, out of jurisdiction. Illinois was informed of the situation, but perhaps is not bothering to prosecute considering Brown got four fifty-year sentences, served concurrently. Both victims testified at sentencing, but only the Texas case was prosecuted.
The victim was thirteen in 2009 when she testified at the sentencing hearing, giving a victim impact statement. She said she forgave him. Just imagine a thirteen-year-old child doing this. She was abused from 2005-2007 when she was nine to eleven. The information came out when she told a school counselor she was abused.
