Chuck Phelps was the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in New Hampshire. Now he is a pastor in Indiana. He attended Bob Jones University.
In 1997, Tina Anderson was fifteen years old and babysat for Ernest Willis who was thirty-nine at the time. She became pregnant and gave the baby up for adoption and Willis signed the papers allowing adoption. Phelps made HER apologize to the congregation and to the rapist’s wife, paid to send her away to Colorado, and protected the rapist. This came out because a man who witness her “repentance” wrote a blog post and the police investigated and prosecuted Willis in 2011.
Another girl, Cheryl, said she went to Phelps and told him her stepfather was raping her. She says Phelps told her to forgive and forget, not to destroy that family. Phelps denies the the allegation and blames the police for not prosecuting, the same police who pursued a case from a blog post.
