KANSAS- Stalking, Child Sexual Abuse Material Possession
As reported by the Kansas newspaper The Star, the public learns that former Bonner Springs police detective was accused of using department resources to stalk his spouse on duty, allegedly used a handmade recording device to spy on his wife in her home, according to newly released court documents. Wyandotte County prosecutors filed 18 criminal charges against Kyle Rector, 39-year-old of Kansas City, Kansas on March 18, 2026. He faces charges of sexual exploitation of a child, breach of privacy, official misconduct, unlawful acts concerning computers and stalking, according to a charging document.
Rector was fired from his position as a detective at the Bonner Springs Police Department on Jan. 26 after the agency suspected he used department resources to stalk his spouse while he was on duty, according to a March 18 news release from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. The KBI opened an investigation into Rector’s alleged conduct days later, during which officials discovered child sexual abuse material, according to the press release.

POLITICAL AFFILIATION
Mr. Rector will have to explain to the public why he had child sex abuse material on his electronic devices. What drove his influence to sexual misconduct and who does he look up to, perhaps the US President? This is not normal in today’s society regardless of any belief system on this planet.
In the 2024 presidential election, Donald Trump won Wyandotte County, Kansas, with a significant margin, reflecting the overall Republican influence in the state. Wyandotte County demonstrated that what Trump was guilty of sexually is okay to them. We can only hope good core principles like simply respecting all humans with dignity override terrible harmful desires disguised to children as some type of normal activity with absolutely no condemnation from the predator’s peers is incredibly unacceptable.
America cannot be seen as an accommodating state for child sex predators especially in religious and leadership positions. This is where separation of church and state help protect moral wrongdoings from spilling into civic public life. If your faith accepts child sex abuse, keep it in your own house not in government.

Essentially, these people – the majority being males – are persistent human predators targeting women and children for gratification of their desire for power and control using sexual abuse and violence. Why are there so many of these right-wingers so drawn to victimisation of vulnerable people? I simply don’t understand. It’s horrific.
