Michael Priest, along with his wife Gail Priest, founded 99+1 Foundation, to advocate on behalf of foster children and address the very real crisis of children aging out and being left without resources. The Foundation held over $500,000 in assets in 2022 according to their tax return.
In July 2024, he was arrested and charged with sexually abusing two girls, his adoptive children, over the course of several years. They are now adults.
His wife, Gail Priest, was arrested and charged with failure to report in March 2025.
